JET COASTER
Jet Coaster was started in the middle of 1997. The first formations were Sindhy (vocal), Pedol (bass), Nicky (drum), Anto (keyboard), Bonnie and Merrick (guitars). Together they joined the Brankas Co. (underground record company) who made the compilation "Brankas Pondok Gede II", which consisted of 10 underground bands. Jet Coaster played their own song, Home Alone. Unfortunately, Jet Coaster were crashed, and their personils were decided to quit, except Nicky and Sindhy. The other personils, Pedol, Anto, Bonnie and Merrick made their own band called Permen. Then, Nicky and Sindhy (guess who, they were a couple instead !) tried to look for other personils. And thank God, they found them. So, after their absenced on underground stage for quite a long time, they tried to re-build Jet Coaster. Together, Nicky and Sindhy, and their new playmates, Richard (bass), Raymond (guitar), and Joel (alto-sax) started their new steps. And, in the middle of 1999, Jet Coaster joined in "Ska Klinik" album, under cooperation with Musica Records, together with their friends, such as Bom Bom Car, Pinocchio, Rolling Door, UFO, and Es Coret. Jet Coaster brought down their own song called Salah Tingkah, the Indonesian version of Home Alone. But then...Nicky walked out from Jet Coaster, and replaced by Cherry. Until now, Jet Coaster still exist. They get a lot of fans, of course...Maybe this is because of the Jet Coaster style, which is very unique, especially Sindhy, the vocalist. On stage, she always wear the red square-motif shirt, mini-leather skirt, black stocking, and boots with the red laces...Not to forget, her vibre is very strong...
